EBSC Member Spotlight – Marino Gomez 

We at the Emo Brown Social Club are so happy to support the latest accomplishment of Marino Gomez, whose first solo exhibition, “Spare Parts – An Art Toys Exhibition by Gomez Customs” is on display at the Chicano Park Museum and Cultural Center through August 6.

Many Social Club members know Marino as the talented mind behind Gomez Customs, and his unique take on action figures.

We’ve seen his take on Chalino Sanchez, Edgar (the “ya, güey” kid), the Padres Fan who flipped off the Dodgers guy and celebrated as Joe Musgrove himself ended up with one of Marino’s creations.

In short, we’ve always known he’s super-talented (not to mention, he’s got an awesome personality).

That’s why we’re very excited to see that he’s getting the spotlight on his artwork and encourage everyone to support his show.

We invite everyone to head out and support his art.
